Feature Requests Information

At Sennen, we prioritise customer satisfaction and feedback, which is why customers are encouraged to share their ideas and suggestions by raising Feature Requests on Freshdesk. We commit to reviewing every request in the relevant forum and actioning ones which are feasible and align with our roadmap. Although the implementation of every request is not guaranteed, each one will be given careful consideration. If a request is of high importance, it is a good idea to raise in Freshdesk and flag this to your Sennen Power User for discussion in their Account Management forum.

Submitting an effective feature request

For optimal efficiency in reviewing feature requests for Sennen, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Be specific: clearly describe the feature request in mind and how it may work
  • Explain the use case (problem statement): help us understand the problem you are trying to solve.
  • Scenarios: provide descriptions of scenarios that demonstrate the requested feature in action
  • Indicate the priority: indicate how important the request is to your users, this will help guide our review forum agendas. Please use the index below:
    • High: Crucial, impacts operations, workable without.
    • Medium: Important, improves experience and efficiency.
    • Low: Nice to have, not top priority, long-term.

What happens after submission?

Each feature request is added to a feature request directory where the team carefully evaluate their feasibility, impact, and alignment with the product roadmap. A subset of the requests are reviewed once a quarter to determine one of the following outcomes:

  • Further information required: additional details are needed to better understand the request.
  • Viable development and a Sennen priority: if deemed feasible and aligned with our goals, the request is added to the relevant backlog for Product Team planning.
  • Viable development but not an immediate Sennen priority: the request is feasible for development but is not currently among our top priorities. If this item is a high priority for you, this may trigger a commercial discussion.
  • Feature request is not aligned with Sennen roadmap / not technically feasible: if the request does not align with our roadmap or is technically unfeasible, it will not be pursued.

All feature request tickets are updated with their outcome. Please bear in mind that the process might require some time, as Sennen’s product and development teams carefully assess each request's feasibility and prioritise them based on the roadmap and available resources.
